After a few teaser images and video attachments, Ferrari has today released the first official images and details on the model 488 GTB, which is a replacement for the current 458 Italia.
488 GTB is, however, far more than just a redesign of the 458, which is visually distinguished by an altered front and rear, as well as preening interior.
There are also new sports exhaust system (now with two exhaust pipes) and, most importantly, instead of the 4.5 liter V8 engine, the new 488 GTB has a 3.9-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with 492 kW / 670KS at 8000 r / min . and 760 Nm of torque at 3000 r / min.
The engine is paired with a modified seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, drive to the rear wheels, and there are F1-Trac and E-Diff.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 3.0 seconds to 200 km / h in 8.3 seconds, top speed is 330 km / h, and the Fiorano track in Italy 488 GTB passes for 1 minute and 23 seconds.
488 GTB is 4568 mm long, 1952 mm wide, 1213 mm high, weighs 1370 kg (46.5% schedule ahead, 53.5% rear), and if someone with this kind of car it at all interested, the factory stated that the average fuel consumption is 11.4 l / 100 km (CO2 emissions of 260 grams per kilometer).
Ferrari 488 GTB premiere will be held in early March at the Geneva Motor Show, a Spider variant will have a promotion in September this year, in Frankfurt.
